F or two years, I've been singing the praises of a band called Ceasefire, four crazy talented guys from Orange County, California. Readers, you've witnessed my worship. I've been all over Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, and this very blog spreading the gospel about them.   Allow me to take you on a trip down memory lane  and reintroduce you to the boys, I'd like you to get to know them as well as I do. Since my  last post  about the band, there has been only one major change in the lineup.  The very amazing Mr. Danny Molloy has stepped up as bassist, and has blended in with the band so seamlessly, it was like he was always meant to be there. I have started a full out love affair with the West coast, Southern California in particular.  For the first time in my 34 years, I have finally made it all the way West, and I had to tear myself away when it was time to come home.  Nobody really wants to come home from vacation, but in my case, it was like tearing off my arm. Tony Bennett may have left his heart in San Francisco, but I left mine in Orange County, and I need to get back to put everything back together.   I can't even explain what it was.  I know this:  The peace that I felt just being there was something I don't experience much in my life at home.  It's like my entire soul calmed down for a few days, and all it took was some ocean scented air and the waves of the Pacific.  Feeling the sun on my face made me deliriously happy, the sight of palm trees as I descended into LA gave me giggle fits, riding on the 405 in the middle of rush hour didn't give me heart burn.  The vibe there...

A few months back I took a break from my usual angst and wrote a short blurb on a fast rising band I was into.  Since then I decided that they needed something a little...'wordier' (and if you're a regular reader, you know Wordy is my middle name).  I knew that one paragraph wasn't enough to encompass the wonder that is Ceasefire.   If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you've definitely heard me yelling about these guys more than once, and for good reason.  Let me drop a little musical science on you with a quick bio: Ceasefire was formed in Orange County, California in 2011, spawned from the beautiful minds of brothers Kamren and Ray Alexander, and made whole by Anthony Hainsworth: Drummer Extraordinaire, and Bass Master Flash Brandon Franklin.  Together with their Rockstar manager, Gabe, the guys create magic and make it look effortless.   I consider myself an avid music fan with a pretty eclectic palate, and I can still say I don't think I've ...

If you're a friend of mine of Facebook, or even in person, you probably hear alot about these guys.  For those of you that don't know (or think you do), here's the story: Ceasefire is an amazing up and coming band from California. They've toured extensively on the West coast, even opening up for bands like Daughtry.  They've released two amazing singles, and number three is on the way! They are shaping up to be huge, and now is your chance to be there with them from the beginning.  On a more personal note, the four guys that make up the band: Ray, Mark, Kamren and Anthony, as well as their manager Gabe, are the greatest bunch of guys to know.  The guys are crazy talented, but humble and down-to-Earth, and truly appreciate those who appreciate them!  I feel blessed to know them, and truly wish them all the success in the world, because if anyone deserves it, they do!
